  • Yes, but usually not for the same appointment. You could, for example, have up to 5 Medicare funded Team Care Arrangement sessions and then fund additional sessions through your private health insurance.

Can I use my NDIS, DVA or Home Care Package funding to access group services?

  • Yes! This is often a great way to maximise the services that you can access with your budget.

Can I use my Medicare funded Team Care Arrangement referral from my GP to access group services?

  • Not for the group sessions themselves, but you could use one of your 5 Medicare funded appointments for the initial assessment that we require before commencing in one of our groups.

What happens when a therapist comes to my home for an appointment?

  • Your home is your space and our biggest priority is to respect you and your home. You can choose the space that the appointment occurs in and the therapist will bring with them everything that is needed.

What’s Leading Therapies late cancellation policy?

  • We reserve the right to charge a late cancellation fee up to the full charge of the service rate for the scheduled appointment if fewer than 24 hours’ notice is provided to Leading Therapies for cancelled appointments.

  • Yes, we are able to supply a wide range of health equipment to assist you with your goals. This includes prescription and supply of various products for exercise, mobility, daily living, lower and upper limb support, comfort and function in the home.

What information do I need to bring to my first appointment?

  • The main thing we need is you! Come along and our therapist will speak with you about your needs and goals. If you have any information from other health specialists it can be helpful for the therapist working with you.
